- PRM Air Strippers are an efficient and compact product for treating contaminated water with a smaller footprint than a traditional air stripper. The water stream flows over a distribution weir and along the horizontal trays. Forced air is blown through holes in the trays and forms a froth of bubbles generating a large mass transfer surface area where the contaminants are volatilized. The clean water exits the stripper and the off-gas vapors are treated as required.
